Blood bowl time again. I've painted up a few star players. Not that star players are terribly useful to me at the moment being one game into a blood bowl league. But maybe if we do a second season and maybe if I keep losing every game, then eventually the differential will get large enough to hire them. Nevertheless, the completionist in me tells me to collect all the star players I could use with my humans.

First up we have Grak and Crumbleberry. New star players produced by forge world as event only / warhammer world models. Since these guys can be hired by virtually any team I painted them up in unique uniforms. Somewhat reminiscent of my emperors children. My feeling is that they would be something of a novelty act in the world of blood bowl, so the garish uniforms make sense. I'm quite pleased with the way I managed to make the gold parts look both shiney, and also beaten up.

I also painted the new Mighty Zug, replacing the metal model that I only painted up a month or two ago. However, this is such a nice characterful model and far more in keeping with the slightly different scale of the new plastic players. A lovely expressive model to paint. This guy can only be hired by humans so he is painted up to match my human team. I'm quite proud of the neat stripes on the trousers. That seems to be a skill I have acquired.
I always love your receipe. But can you also share the receipe for Vegan Mayonnnaise? I find it difficult to buy it at store. they dont have it sometimes
