Inquisitor Grayfax
Finally got around to uploading a picture of Inquisitor Grayfax. Possibly one of the nicest paint jobs I have ever managed to do.

The importance of having a hobby

My knight is cool, but only has a passing relevance to this post.

This year I have started running a Warhammer club for students at the school in which I work. It seems to be taking off, however there has been a small quantity of agro sent my way from various students.

Sir, you play Warhammer, really, isn't that for children, (most children aged 12 or above don't apply the label child to themselves). It's so stupid. Why would anyone be interested in that?
All very predictable and to be expected. However, it did get me to thinking.

Like a wheel within a wheel

So a apparently, Warhammer Fantasy Battles is turning into a round based game. As apparently modelled by the skaven war machines in the picture above. I am hopeful, hopeful of a lower model count. This would make the game more appealing to me as I find fewer models, more variety and big centrepieces a good thing. The internet unhappiness patrol is out in force of course, and I suppose re-basing is a pain in the teeth. However, it seems that some folks are always unhappy with any change Games Workshop make, so it hardly matters.

Rumor Roundup

So, I want to take a minute here to talk about what might be coming down the pipe from GW in the near future. Now, I don't have any sources of my own this is simply what I have been able to cobble together from the various things you hear online. The skill comes from distinguishing the likely from the unlikely. I hope some of you at least find this information useful.
